The kitchen featured in this article is one of our most recent projects. Our customer Maria asked us to turn an unused spare room into a kitchen with direct access to the garden and to the living room. She also wanted to be able to separate the kitchen and the living room at times so we installed glass sliding doors which are an amazing feature adding a lot of charm to the space.
We worked with Maria offering her a wide variety of options to customise the kitchen to her impeccable taste and we think the results speak for themselves. Now there is a natural flow between the spaces and, what felt like a small room, is now a spacious and inviting kitchen where you can have a lovely cup of tea enjoying the garden view or cook while you chat with your friends having a lovely glass of wine in the living room.
Maria wrote : “ I had done numerous building projects previously, but not In Portugal, Jaime and Marta worked with me at every stage to source interesting materials, the sinks for example. The finish for the cupboards was created especially for me to match an existing table. The process was so creative, it was clear they really enjoy their work. With all projects you can hit tiny glitches, but everything was solved very quickly, with great attention to detail. The cost was within budget and the timetable was achieved. I intended this to be my final project but I enjoyed it all so much, I would love to work with them to do a complete renovation. “
Maria was creative and brave enough not to limit herself to the existing structure of the house and it has been an amazing experience for us to help her realise her vision. We look forward to working with her again in the near future.
